Quartersawn Sycamore Tony Rice Style Dreadnought

Introducing the Bear Creek Custom Timber Tony Rice Style – a masterpiece handcrafted in the timeless style of pre-war Martin guitars. At Bear Creek, we take pride in the art of guitar making, ensuring that each instrument is meticulously crafted by skilled hands, setting us apart from “kit” guitars.

Our commitment to excellence begins with resawing our own wood, providing a personal touch to the construction process. This particular guitar boasts quartersawn sycamore back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, and a Honduran mahogany neck – a combination that echoes the classic beauty of vintage Martins.

The forward-shifted Adirondack spruce braces contribute to its exceptional resonance and tone quality, while the ebony end graft, fingerboard, and peghead overlay add a touch of elegance. The nickel silver frets provide durability and a smooth playing experience.

What sets this Bear Creek guitar apart is the Tony Rice style sound hole, creating a distinctive aesthetic. It’s not just an instrument; it’s a work of art with amazing resonance and unparalleled tone quality.

Curious to experience it for yourself? Feel free to visit our shop and take this handcrafted beauty for a spin. Discover the soulful sound that Bear Creek Custom Timber Guitars brings to your musical journey.
